Laser welding is one of the most important processes in the production process of power battery, and fiber laser has obvious advantages. However, due to the high brightness of the near-Gaussian spot produced by the fiber laser, it is easy to cause the splash problem in high reflective materials such as copper/aluminum. The center + ring spot fiber laser can independently adjust the light intensity in the two regions, which is a good solution to the spatter situation. In order to easily achieve the above laser output effect, Lasfiberio has completed the concept design of the ring spot laser beam combiner, through which, the laser output with adjustable point ring.

Description: Combiner of point and ring spot is based on point and ring optical fiber with multi-waveguide, the fiber is as the output of combiner, in the input end of the beam combiner , multiple fiber laser signal after amplification are respectively injected into the center of the optical fiber waveguide and circular waveguide, the output of point and ring spot can be achieve, at the same time ,two waveguide laser energy are individually adjustable, the principle is as shown in figure 1 and figure 2. 1. RC: Ring Beam Combiner; 2. N: select 7or19 , n: select 1,2,3,4 or 7,if N=19,need to be customized; 3. A: Input fiber injected into the ring area,B: Input fiber injected into the central area, C: Point and Ring Fiber with multi-waveguide,X:Fiber pigtail length; 4. n-B,n fibers of type B injected into the central area 5 D: Package type.
